Safe marketplace updates
Update guide
CarDet uses a manual marketplace update channel.
- Create a database and file backup.
- Test the new release on a staging copy.
- Download the latest licensed installable ZIP.
- Open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Select the ZIP and choose Replace current with uploaded.
- Confirm the displayed CarDet version and review Settings → System.
- Complete a test booking and, when enabled, a payment and calendar-sync test.
Normal upgrades preserve configuration and booking data. Do not delete the plugin unless you understand the configured uninstall-data behavior.
