Installation, first setup and production-ready configuration.

Install the plugin

1. In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
2. Select the installable cardet-booking-1.6.10.zip file.
3. Choose Install Now, activate CarDet Booking and complete the setup wizard.

Essential setup

1. Set business identity, currency and public booking language.
2. Review vehicle types and create main services, add-ons, pricing and duration rules.
3. Configure weekly hours, exceptions, buffers and booking window.
4. Add locations, workers and detailing bays if real resource capacity is required.
5. Create a page containing [cardet_booking].
6. Send a test email and complete one end-to-end test booking.

Optional integrations

Google Calendar

Connect Google OAuth only when calendar delivery and external busy-event checks are needed. Connection credentials remain site-bound and are excluded from configuration exports.

Stripe Checkout

Enable Stripe only after HTTPS is active. Configure full or deposit payments, register the signed webhook endpoint and complete a test payment before launch.

Operations

Use the dashboard for daily workload, revenue and occupancy. Bookings can be filtered by date, status, payment and location. Customer-management links can allow secure cancellation or rescheduling within the rules you configure.
